This is a quick reference chart for using when diluting essential oils with carrier oils.

This chart will help you convert essential and carrier oil measurements. Use a measuring cup or spoon for carrier oils and pipettes for measuring your essential oils.
1 ounce carrier oil (2 Tablespoons) + 1.5 ml essential oil
2 ounce carrier oil (1/4 cup) + 3 ml essential oil
3 ounce carrier oil (1/3 cup) + 4.5 ml essential oil
4 ounce carrier oil (1/2 cup) + 6 ml essential oil
8 ounce carrier oil (1 cup) + 9 ml essential oil
10% dilution rate (approximate)
1 ounce carrier oil (2 Tablespoons) + 3 ml essential oil
2 ounce carrier oil (1/4 cup) + 6 ml essential oil
3 ounce carrier oil (1/3 cup) + 9 ml essential oil
4 ounce carrier oil (1/2 cup) + 12 ml essential oil
8 ounce carrier oil (1 cup) + 24 ml essential oil
ml conversion to ounces (approximate drops)
1 ml = 20-24 drops
3 ml = .10 ounce (approximately 60-72 drops)
6 ml = .20 ounce (approximately 120-144 drops)
9 ml = .30 ounce (approximately 180-216 drops)
12 ml = .40 ounce (approximately 240-288 drops)
24 ml = .80 ounce (approximately 480-576 drops)
teaspoons to drops
1/8 teaspoon = 12.5 drops = 1/48 ounce = 5/8 ml
1/4 teaspoon = 25 drops = 1/24 ounce = 1 1/4 ml
3/4 teaspoon = 75 drops = 1/8 ounce = 3.7 ml
1 teaspoon = 100 drops = 1/6 ounce = 5 ml
