Hearing God's Voice
God can speak to you in many ways. He may put a scripture in your mind to look up. God may speak through a friend or parent - giving you the guidance or answer you were looking for. The Lord may speak in a still small voice deep inside your heart, or you may look up while riding down the freeway and see a huge billboard with your answer. God's ways are limitless, so be open to whichever way God may speak to you.
How To Know If It Is God's Will (Our example is for someone who is considering babysitting or being a babysitter as a job)?
1. Pray and spend time with God.
2. Read your Bible. A verse may pop out at you and be the answer you were looking for.
3. Is there an open door for you to babysit? Do you have any job offers? Or is the door closed? If God closes the door, He's got something better for you!
4. Seek Godly counsel. Ask your parents, pastor, or teacher if they think it's a wise decision for you to start a babysitting business.1. Pray and spend time with God.
